La tradizione degli Others in fatto di mondiali di calcio era quella , tuttora rimasta , di trovarsi con una bella birrozza fresca al bar in spiaggia da Pilo. Il bello dei mondiali era che gli amici che si erano scannati tutto l' inverno per le proprie passioni calcistiche , improvvisamente diventavano Italiani e mettevano da parte i propri rancori. The beauty of the world was that the friends who had all the benches' winter for their football passions, suddenly became Italians and by putting their grievances.

Ad ogni vittoria eravamo come tuttora pronti ad una serata da baracca ! For every victory like we were still ready to shed an evening! ( Vabbè lo so che quasi tutte le sere si faceva bagarre! (Vabbè know that almost every night it was bagarre! Wink ) . ).

Mi ricordo che eravamo sul maggiolone di Roby del Jimmy e ogniuno di noi aveva uno strumento musicale, improvvisammo un pezzo di samba con alcuni passanti che avevano la tromba e un tamburo … Che spettacolo!!!! I remember that we were on maggiolone Roby of Jimmy and each of us had a musical instrument, a piece of impromptu samba with some passersby who had the trumpet and a drum ... What a spectacle!
